NOTE: Even if you don't live in or near the path, if you are a taxpaying, voting resident of Brazos County, we need your help! Your tax dollars are paying for the $11.2 million study and your tax dollars will certainly be used to buy the right-of-way, using eminent domain, and to build what could be a billion dollar highway. So, please, drop your pin on your property and tell the study "NO EAST LOOP" and why you don't want your tax dollars wasted on a highway to nowhere.
-
Write a letter. Tell your story, make it personal. How will this affect you, your family, your life, your livelihood, your farm/ranch/home? Each letter should be personal and individual to be effective. Email to the Commissioners or postal mail (see emails at the bottom of this page.
Also, email Quiddity by May 23rd HERE (BrazosInnerLoopEast@quiddity.com) or mail Quiddity via postal mail at Inner Loop East Study, 1862 Rock Prairie Road, Suite 200, College Station, TX 77845. -
DROP YOUR PIN (by May 23rd)!!! Visit this site to locate your property on the map ON A COMPUTER and preferably in Safari browser (chrome tends to lock up) and add your comments. There is room for about 4.5 lines of 12 point font (write in microsoft word and then cut and paste). Please watch our video to learn how to use the interactive map.
-
Please check with all your neighbors and get them involved. So many people do not know this is coming! Look at the interactive pin map and make sure all the neighboring properties around you have their comments visible AND DESCRIPTIVE! Just a simple "no" is not enough. In addition, if you have neighbors who may be challenged in using this "map pin system," please go help them make their voice's heard. Take your laptop and help them!
